Wicked Lights unveil ‘Valparaiso’, the second single from the forthcoming EP “Have A Nice Dream” which will be released in late August.
‘Valparaiso’ is a little reminiscent of folky acoustic tracks in early Led Zeppelin, though curiously it also reminded us of “The Rain Song” in “Houses of the Holy.” This is a song for anybody on a journey to the other side of loss, grief or heartache which we can find warmth in the sad poetry of Two’s lyric; It also gives hope and courage to those going through losses and realize there’s always the joy of a fresh start as life must move on.
“A love gone wrong story that should inspire hope and resolve. Losing someone near and dear to us unexpectedly or a slow fade. There is no need for self-pity but we should only to dust ourselves off to get back up… Scars might remain but with an end comes a beginning and with renewal hope for something or someone to come and fill in the void and it’s ok to keep the beautiful memories you once shared around” Two explains.
Have A Nice Dream EP again recorded in a few weeks with Two’s best friend and producer Montonn Jira (Music Director of Wonderfruit, The Neptunes, Katsue) at Unisonic Sounds Studio, and mastering by John Davis (The Killers, Gorillaz, The xx, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Blur) – Mastering Engineer of The Metropolis Studio in London.
While music video was filmed in Argentina directed by filmmaker and director, Rois Martin & Apolo Cine Team.
